Services
The Student Activities Office (SAO) has an array of services available for the use of recognized student groups at the University of Notre Dame. Below, you will find information regarding digital signage advertising, room and table reservations in Duncan Student Center and LaFortune Student Center, LaFortune Box Office and Domer Dollar Terminals.

Digital Signage
SAO offers recognized student groups the opportunity to advertise their events via the digital video boards located in Duncan Student Center and LaFortune Student Center. To feature your student group's poster on the digital video boards, please submit your electronic poster or pre-formatted custom image via email to saolcd@nd.edu.
Make sure to follow the formatting guidelines:

- The document will be cropped/re-formatted to fit the screen
- PDF or JPEG file

Pre-formatted custom image:
- Size: 1080px x 1920px for vertical digital video boards (LaFortune and Duncan), 1920px x 1080px for horizontal digital video boards (Duncan)
NOTE: All student group event posters and/or images must be approved via NDCentral prior to being displayed.

Meeting Room Reservations
Reservation requests for residence halls and recognized student organizations must go through NDCentral. All other requests by current Notre Dame faculty, staff, and/or departments must be made by emailing saores@nd.edu and require advance notice of at least two weeks.
- No individual student can reserve a space and must be affiliated with a student organization, residence hall or department.
- Reservations are not confirmed until an email notice of confirmation has been sent by the Student Activities Office or the event has been approved through NDCentral.
- Reservations are not permitted during Reading Days or Finals week. Hours and blackout dates beyond these days are subject to change.
- Reservations for the Huddle Rooms on the 2nd floor of the LaFortune Student Center are not permitted for public use.
- No reservations may serve as ‘fronts’ for any other recognized student organization, university department, or non-university groups to gain access to the space.
- Departments may be limited on the number of spaces they can book in one day. We ask all department conferences to use University Events for their bookings.
Meeting Room and Space Usage
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, longboards, skates and other personal conveyance vehicles are not permitted to be used inside buildings.
- Fog, haze, or smoke machines are strictly prohibited in LaFortune and Duncan Student Centers. Washington Hall and Stepan Center will require prior authorization for use.
- Room capacities must never exceed posted numbers.
- Do not sit on tables.
- Please be respectful to building operations and keep sound to a reasonable level.
- Doorways, emergency exits, and fire equipment may not be blocked or obstructed.
- Confetti, chocolate fountains or fondue, rice, glitter, beads, marbles, flower petals, and feather boas are not permitted at any time. Washington Hall and Stepan Center will require prior authorization for use.
- Nailing, tacking, or taping materials to walls, woodwork, windows, sprinklers, ceilings, or projectors, or fastening display materials to draperies or light fixtures is not permitted.
- Candles, incense, and/or open flame are not permitted anywhere in the Duncan Student Center or LaFortune Student Center. Washington Hall and Stepan Center will require prior authorization for use.
- Any balloons used inside Student Activities Office facilities must be tied to a weight or firmly affixed to surfaces.
- Groups may not cover the doors to any rooms without prior approval from the Student Activities Office.
We ask that all organizations clean writing surfaces and whiteboards before departure and any AV equipment be powered down within meeting rooms.
Technical equipment in Hagerty Cafe, Midfield Commons, Washington Hall and Stepan Center will be powered down by facilities staff.
Tables and chairs should be reset to the prior configuration of the room. Excess trash should be removed from the room and tables should be cleaned off. Please report any spills to facilities staff.
Organizations that cause damage to meeting room walls, floors, furniture, or windows will be held financially responsible for all repairs.
Organizations that do not follow the policies during their event will be asked for compliance or risk the cancellation of their event.
Lobby Table Reservations
Recognized student groups can reserve lobby tables in Duncan Student Center and LaFortune Student Center (across from the Huddle Mart). These reservations are limited to 3 hours per day, up to 3 days in a 7 day period.
- To make a reservation for a table on behalf of your student group, submit an NDCentral Event Submission Form. On the day of your tabling event, your group will be expected to observe the following guidelines:
- There are tables available for reservation located in the elevator lobby across from the Huddle Mart in LaFortune Student Center and lobby tables in Duncan Student Center at the Door 16 entrance. Washington Hall has lobby tables for usage only as a part of a reservation for the Mainstage Auditorium.
- Signs, posters, or banners may only be hung with the permission of the facility manager.
- All groups must not have more than three people per table and all items must fit on top of or under the table available. The group and/or group activity must not block or cause a block of elevators, exits/entrances, or closets.
- We ask that all organizations clean table surfaces before departure. Tables and chairs should be reset to the prior configuration. Excess trash should be removed from the table.
LaFortune Box Office Ticket Sales
The LaFortune Box Office focuses primarily on the sale of tickets for student group events and performances on campus. If your group is interested in selling tickets at this location for your upcoming event, select this option on the corresponding section of the NDCentral Event Submission Form.
NOTE: Processing of requests may take 1-2 weeks depending on demand, the sooner that your student group submits their NDCentral Event Submission Form the better.

Domer Dollar Terminals
Through a partnership with Notre Dame Campus Dining, SAO offers recognized student groups the opportunity to accept Domer Dollars for fundraising events. ND ID card terminals are available to check out for use at on campus student group events. If your student group is interested in reserving a Domer Dollar terminal for an event, please denote so in the corresponding section of the NDCentral Event Submission Form.

If you made a donation through a Domer Dollar terminal at an event and you would like to check your current balance, visit the Irish1Card website.
Domer Dollar Refunds
If you would like to request a refund from a donation you made through a Domer Dollar terminal, you must email sao@nd.edu with your request within 24 hours of your donation.
