Library Lawn

With iconic views of both Notre Dame Stadium and The Word of Life mural, Library Lawn serves as a front porch to campus to gather, relax, and study. The lawn is filled with Adirondack chairs and fire pits so you can enjoy an evening under the lights, make a s’more, or hang out with friends.

As a space for student groups to regularly program in the evenings and weekends, you never know what fun can be had on the lawn.

EQUIPMENT

Our lawn has student employees who will gladly rent out equipment for you to use for free during regularly scheduled hours. Equipment (subject to availability) include blankets, bag toss, spikeball, ring toss, KanJam and more.

MUSIC STAGE

Anchored by the Student Union Board's AcoustiCafe series, the lawn regularly hosts student performances, karaoke, and live music throughout the year.

HOURS & AVAILABILITY

The lawn is staffed from Thursday through Saturday evenings. 

Hours subject to change for holidays, breaks, and special events. The lawn is open from August to November and March through Finals Week in May and weather dependent.
