Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cody developed a passion for student development and support during his time as an undergrad at James Madison University, and he went on to complete his master's as a Graduate Assistant with the Department of Campus Recreation at Texas A&M University-Commerce, (now East Texas A&M). He then moved to Morgantown, WV, and contributed to student life through sports at West Virginia University as the Competitive Sports Coordinator. Cody has been with the Student Activities Office since December of 2021. He and his wife enjoy reading, cooking, all things Taylor Swift, and loving on their animals, Milo, Winston, Loki and Gorgonzola (Zola for short).
