Conversation with Olympic Silver Medalist Nancy Kerrigan & Free Skate Night

Join SUB & RecSports for a conversation with Olympic Silver medalist Nancy Kerrigan from 7:15 - 8:15 p.m. and free skating from 8:15 - 10:45 p.m. Attendees must register for both the live virtual conversation and for a time slot to skate on the Olympic Rink.

Upon checking in at Compton Family Ice Arena, those that have registered for the conversation will enter the Lefty Smith Rink and be seated per direction of University staff.

Skating time slots (REGISTRATION CLOSED - ALL SKATING TIME SLOTS FULL)

Attendees may register for one of the below slotted times. In order to maintain physical distancing and follow university protocols, there will be a limited amount of times available for each skating time.

• Skate Time: 8:15 - 8:45 p.m.
  • Check-in begins: 8:10 p.m.
  • Skate time: 8:15 - 8:45 p.m.
  • Exit Compton at 8:50 p.m.
• Skate Time: 9:15 - 9:45 p.m.
  • Check-in begins: 9:10 p.m.
  • Skate time: 9:15 - 9:45 p.m.
  • Exit Compton at 9:50 p.m.
• Skate Time: 10:15 - 10:45 p.m.
  • Check-in begins: 10:10 p.m.
  • Skate time: 10:15 - 10:45 p.m.
  • Exit Compton at 10:50 p.m.

Additional items to know

Please note that you will need to:

1. Show your GREEN Campus Pass to university staff. Those that have a yellow or red Campus Pass will not be allowed entry into this event. Please have your GREEN Campus Pass ready for university staff to check upon arriving to Compton Family Ice Arena.
2. Bring your Irish1Card with you and show when you arrive at the check-in table inside the Compton Family Ice Arena main lobby.

Face masks

• Per university guidelines, face masks are required for the duration of this event.
• How to properly wear a face mask:
  • Must cover nose and mouth
  • Fasten securely with ties or ear loops
  • Fit snugly but comfortably
  • Include multiple layers

Registration

Conversation with Nancy Kerrigan & Ice Skating is FREE. Registration will open on October 31 and close on November 6 at 6:15 p.m.
