Tournament Tuesday - Cornhole, Postponed to Tues 9/15

Location: Library Lawn

This event has been postponed to Tuesday, September 15 due to wet grounds on Library Lawn.

Tournament Style: Double-Elimination

Tournament Cap: 20 teams

Tournament Date & Time: Tuesday, September 8, 7 - 10 p.m.

Prize: Cornhole Set

Cornhole Rules

  • RPS will begin the game.
  • Winner will choose either the chance to throw first OR which side they will throw.
  • Participants must throw the cornhole bag with both feet behind the front of their cornhole board.

Scoring:

  1. 1 point for a cornhole bag that lands on the cornhole board OR is hanging into the hole.
  2. 3 points for a cornhole bag that goes through the hole.
  3. Once all 8 bags are thrown, scoring is determined using Cancellation Format Scoring.
  4. The team that wins the round has the choice to throw first or choose the side in the next round.
  5. A game will end once one team reaches 21 or goes over.
