Assistant Director, Student Programming
Alicia Bates is the Assistant Director of Student Programming where her responsibilities include late night and weekend programming and serving as advisor to SUB, JPW, and BCAC. Prior to this role, Alicia worked internationally at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, and she is always excited to talk about and encourage an international experience. In her free time, Alicia enjoys talking with her Grandma (Alice), traveling, and running.
Alicia earned her B.S. in Mass Communications and Journalism from Methodist University and M.S. in College Student Affairs, with an emphasis in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, from Nova Southeastern University. She is currently finishing her Ed.D. in Organizational Development at Grand Canyon University.
