NEW CLUB ORIENTATION PROGRAM
In order to provide newly recognized clubs with the proper training and education, the Student Activities Office has created a "New Club Orientation Program." All clubs recognized after July 1, 2000, are required to complete the orientation program within the first two full months of the academic calendar after the club was recognized.
In order to complete the program, check the following:
____ Meet with Mary Kate Havlik in the Student Activities Office.
- Review Orientation Program
- Review the role of the Student Activities Office
- Review SAO resources available to the club.
- Review pertinent policies/forms.
_____ Meet with Club Advisor.
- Discuss the role of the advisor.
- Complete and submit The Role of the Advisor activity.
_____ Meet with "Related Area" Office(s).
- Review recognition stipulations.
- Review services/support offered by the office.
_____Meet with respective CCC Division Chair.
- Review the role of the CCC.
- Review the composition of the division.
_____Meet with Bookkeeper in Student Union Treasurer's Office.
- Receive account number.
- Review standard accounting procedures.
- Receive printout of account balance.
_____Meet one last time with Mary Kate Havlik.
- Review content meetings with other areas.
- Review The Role of the Advisor activity.
